John graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 1987, passed the Ohio bar the same year, and has been practicing law since 1987. He is married (Deborah) with two adult daughters. Both of John’s daughters are married and are special education teachers. Clients who have been with John awhile will remember them, as both worked in the office during high school and college.
In 2004 John left the firm where he worked and opened his own office. John’s professional time as a lawyer is divided between services offered to the general public: small business matters, estate planning matters (including asset protection), and probate matters; and services (largely pro bono) offered to ngo/ngo support/non-profit/charitable organizations and causes. John also provides special needs trusts to and provides other services to families with children and adults with disabilities.
Mr. Grundy has spoken at several continuing education seminars for lawyers on topics of estate planning, probate, and small business over the years. He has spoken at the national conference of a Protestant denomination on the topic of “business as missions” in 2013. He has traveled extensively nationally, with limited international travel, in support of a few of his clients and the business as missions movement. John is a member and coach of the OPEN Network of non-profit/charitable organizations.
John is dedicated to seeing his clients flourish and provides legal services to accomplish that purpose. Call today for an appointment to discuss with John how you can flourish in your business or estate planning endeavors.
